I will go to Bordeaux in the middle of April 2026 to taste the 2025 vintage. I expect to taste more than 300 barrel samples. Furthermore, I'll taste 50+ more wines from the 2023 vintage.
In October 2025, I spent four days in Bordeaux, tasting wines from 2023/2022 vintages. A detailed report is available here on the site. TNs/ratings for the bottled 2023s (including a Copenhagen tasting in February 2026) have been added to the "2023 Bordeaux from barrel and after bottling" section.
Wine-Searcher publishes many of my tasting notes and wine ratings, along with prices and purchasing info. You can access Wine-Searcher via the link provided here.

1. My report on the 2024 vintage, with over 300 tasting notes/ratings, is available online. Tasting notes and ratings for recently tasted 2022s are available in the "2022 Bordeaux from the barrel and after bottling" section. TNs from Raymond Lafon (April 2024) in 21 vintages from 2023 to 1979 and Tertre Roteboeuf (November 2024) in 21 vintages from 2022 to 1982 are available in "Horisontal and vertical tastings".
2. I went back to Bordeaux in late October 2024 and tasted some wines from the years 2022, 2021, and 2020. In April 2024, I tasted barrel samples from the 2023 vintage and a few wines from older vintages. The "Vintages" section has a full report on each of these two trips.
3. The Burgundy and Beaujolais section has tasting notes on the best wines from these areas, made by both well-known and lesser-known wineries. I tried Morgon Côte du Puy from five different producers in April 2022, the 2018 and 2019 vintages. In June 2022, I tried other wines from the same producers, and in August 2023, I tried the 2020 vintage from these producers, along with a few others.
4. Pekka Nuikki from Finland runs the excellent website https://tastingbook.com/, where I frequently share my tasting notes. I had more than 12,818 followers and 3,670 TNs in April 2026. I came in 22nd out of 37 finalists in Tastingbook's 2024 "The Best Wine Critic in the World" contest.
